Demo Day 2025

Georgia Tech’s entrepreneurial spirit took center stage at CREATE-X’s annual Demo Day, where more than 1,500 attendees, includ  ing students, investors, alumni and members of the Atlanta community, gathered to witness the future of innovation. From artifi  cial intelligence and healthcare to sustainability and defense, student-led startups and ventures from alumni, faculty, and re  searchers showcased groundbreaking ideas across a wide range of industries.

Demo Day 2025

From Student Ideas to Startup Impact

Since its inception in 2014, CREATE-X has supported more than 770 startups with a combined valuation of $2.8 billion. Many graduates have gone on to secure venture capital, and scale nationally. Several program alumni ventures have earned spots on Forbes’s 30 Under 30 list.

“This year’s Demo Day demonstrates the power of combining Georgia Tech’s talent with the resources of CREATE-X,” said Rahul Saxena, director of CREATE-X. “Our founders are solving real problems, building scalable businesses, and contributing to Atlanta’s growing role as a hub for innovation.”

Startup Launch, CREATE-X’s signature summer accelerator, supported 276 founders in developing and pitching their startups. Each team is offered mentorship, funding, and services to help advance their ideas into market-ready companies.

One of those startups, Logicyte, co-founded by Georgia Tech researcher Nohr Asmare, is developing an autonomous testing platform to help lower the cost of advanced cell therapies.

“Without CREATE-X, I think it's questionable how far we would have gotten,” Asmare said. “The guidance and being in that environment ensured we did not waste time or resources. CREATE-X was essential for us to be where we are at this point in time.”

Looking Ahead

Applications are now open for the next Startup Launch cohort, with an early admission priority deadline of Nov. 17. Founders are eligible for $5,000 in seed funding, access to weekly legal office hours, cloud credits, mentorship from industry experts, a dedicated coach, and the opportunity to showcase their startup at Demo Day next summer.

The program is open to Georgia Tech students, faculty, researchers, and alumni within one year of graduation.
